Lowndes Longest Table is a community initiative developed through One Valdosta-Lowndes, a community-based partnership that brings people and organizations together to advance shared priorities and create a stronger, more connected community.

On Sunday, November 16, from 4-6 p.m., hundreds of neighbors will gather gathered around one long table—sharing a meal, exchanging ideas and building connections across our community.

Lowndes Longest Table is a free community gathering designed to bring people together for meaningful conversations about what makes Lowndes County special and how we can help shape its future.

People of all ages, backgrounds and neighborhoods are invited to take a seat at the table. You do not need to be an elected official, community leader or organization representative to participate. You only need a willingness to listen, share and connect with your neighbors.

Registration Opens in September

There is no cost to attend, but advance registration will be required.

What to Expect
Guests will be seated at tables with neighbors from throughout Lowndes County. Trained table captains will help guide welcoming, respectful conversations while ensuring everyone has an opportunity to participate.
